Howdy my low FODMAP friends, I want to share a delicious detox smoothie that is nourishing for the gut and will leave you feeling cleansed. A night of binging on salty taco chips and one, yes one tiny dip of garlic hummus (I know I could resist), today, I woke up and felt like I had been beaten and bruised. I find whenever I eat something my gut doesn’t approve of I suffer with water retention and have side effects similar to that of a hangover. So right now I feel like my body is in a little bit of a crisis but I have my detox day planned and this recipe is what I will have to kick start the day to get me back on track.
