I love raw ginger root and I try to put it with pretty much everything I eat…I know I’m strange… the truth is, Ginger is one of the best wonder spices around, it’s great for:
- Cold / flu
- Digestion difficulties
- A natural appetite suppressant
However the only downside is peeling it! If you use a knife or peeler you lose a lot of the flesh. My trick is to peel it with a spoon…yes a spoon. Take a teaspoon and just scrap the edge along the skin, Hey presto clean shaved ginger!
